When you join a Grief Recovery Method Programme, I collect personal data directly from
you, including:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Phone number and/or email
  • Emergency contact details
  • Whether you’re under the care of a mental health professional
  • Whether you’re experiencing active PTSD

You will also sign a Learning Agreement, which outlines our mutual commitments for this
educational programme.

 

2. Why do I collect your data?

I collect this information to:

  • Ensure your wellbeing and safety during the programme
  • Set appropriate boundaries of care
  • Contact you about your sessions
  • Respond appropriately in an emergency
  • Meet professional and legal responsibilities

 

3. Legal basis for using your data

I rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent – You give explicit permission for your data to be used for the purposes of
    the programme.
  • Legitimate interests – For safeguarding and delivering a responsible service.
  • Special category data (e.g. mental health) is processed only with your explicit
    consent and handled with utmost care.

 

4. How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely in encrypted digital files or locked physical folders. Only I
(Lucy Lord) have access to this information.

 

5. How long I keep your data

Your information is retained for 12 months after you complete the programme. It is then
securely deleted or destroyed.

GA4 uses cookies (_ga, _gid) to collect anonymised data (eg. page views, visits etc) for site improvement.
